I’ve been on a quest to make sure that we (Kevin and I) are doing everything we can to be the BEST pet parents. On this quest, I recently wrote an ethics paper using PetSmart as the topic of conversation. It only makes sense to do business with a company that is ethically sound as opposed to one that is notorious for having issues with customers and their pets.
This paper explored the changing workforce and the ethical challenges that potential employees and consumers are concerned with. Retail continuously becomes more and more competitive and to sustain business, companies like PetSmart need to make sure that their ethics are in line with their business. A pro-active code of ethics that shows in daily work habits will help to ensure success for years to come. This mix also helps to make customers happy pet parents!
